We had the privilege of being hired by a wonderful family to be the day of coordinator for their daughter's Bat Mitzvah. This was our first one so it was so exciting to be a part of such a momentous occasion. The theme was Candy Land - but they creatively came up with the theme "Carly Land" as the guest of honor's name was Carly.
Pinterest played a big part in their decor - Julie, her mom, made the most amazing decorations. For the table centerpieces, she made big rainbow colored candy cakes - the actual layers of the cake were made of Styrofoam. The Lollipops on top had the table number on it! For the cocktail centerpieces, she made glass jars filled with purple crinkle paper and a Stryofoam ball filled with dum dum pops.
For guest favors, she got all sorts of containers and made custom signs to have a candy bar. She also got containers full of cotton candy that she customized with stickers.
For the card box, she made a large gumball machine custom with Carly's name!
Our FAVORITE decor that she did was the place card holders - she ordered gum ball machines filled them with sixlet candies and put the escort card in there. Just look at how cute and creative these are.
We took care of transporting all her decor, setting it up and tearing it down. We also created the timeline and confirmed all the vendors and made sure all of Julie's requests and wishes for her daughter's bat mitzvah came true.
