Bridal Party Gifts

This can be a surprise cost to some couples. It is customary to get your bridal party a gift. Wedding party gifts should convey your sincere gratitude to the bridesmaids and groomsmen who have been there for you through thick and thin. They paid for transportation, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and attire, so it is nice to give back. The average spent can be from $50 - $100 each. To keep feelings from being hurt, we suggest getting similar gifts for each bridal party member meaning don't give an $100 gift to one bridesmaid and a $20 gift to another.

For my bridemaids, I created a custom Tervis Tumbler on www.tervis.com with photos of us. I bought each of them a silk pashmina to use if it was chilly out for the wedding, and I bought them an Alex and Ani Bracelet. It's really nice to do something personalized and sentimental for each lady. The Alex and Ani bracelets are a great choice because each one has a meaning behind it and you can choose the meaning that most aligns to your relationship with the person or their personality.

For the groomsmen, we got personalized beer mugs created and stuffed them full of goodies. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of them but I purchased them of Monogram Online.

There are so many other great ideas that you can do. Monogrammed items are very popular like canvas bags, wine glasses, wallets, etc. Some brides will give the ladies jewelry that matches the bridesmaids dresses or cuff-links for the guys. If you google, bridal party gift ideas there are a ton of different options. It's based off the personality of your bridal party! Don't stress too much about it either - your friends and family are just happy to be included in your big day.
