Get to Know Us

A huge part between your wedding coordinator and you is TRUST! The best way to establish trust is by getting to know us a little better. While I am the main coordinator, I do bring along an assistant for the day. Assistants are crucial on a wedding day as it is impossible to be two places at once. Zack is my assistant - he is also my husband. There is no one I trust more in the world to help my couples and help make my business a success. He is always calm cool and collected - he is my MacGyver and can fix anything - its always good to have some muscle come wedding day! 

 

I interviewed Zack for this blog post and here is our interview:

 

What is your favorite part of a wedding? 

Dancing - Once all the formalities of the wedding are done, then the fun begins. I love watching all of our couples' family and friends dance carefree on the dance floor. Everyone is always smiling and laughing. It is nice to know that our work helps people be happy! 

 

What are some of your jobs on the wedding day? 

This one is a hard one to nail down because I do everything and anything. For example, we had a bridal party run out of a certain kind of champagne - so I ran to the grocery store and picked up more bottles for them. My normal duties are wrangling the groomsmen, helping facilitate the first look and the walk down the aisle. I also help set up and take down all personal items. I'm there to support Lizzie and the couple in any way they need. 

 

What is the craziest thing you experienced so far and how did you deal with it? 

The bride and groom were very young and were excited to be alone right after the ceremony - so they disappeared into their hotel room for an hour when they were supposed to be taking bridal party photos. So my job was to keep the bridal party together in an area in case the bride and groom showed up we could do photos- well I got them drinks and appetizers and they were all happy and then finally the couple showed up and we got in a couple pictures right before introductions!
