Emma called me looking for some day of wedding planning help because she was planning on bringing all her own decor and not hiring a florist. Since I have a background in floral design and event decor set up, she thought I was the perfect fit for her. Her ceremony and reception were at a restaurant in downtown Lake Worth that sadly doesn't exist anymore. But there are a ton of great options nearby to host your Lake Worth wedding. When she sent me the guest list and turns out Patrick (the groom) is the cousin of someone I have known since Kindergarten! Unfortunately my friend wasn't able to make it to their wedding though.
On the wedding day - March 13, 2021, Katie (my event assistant) and I showed up at the airbnb nearby where they were getting ready and we hopped on making the greenery rings for the centerpieces. Emma and Patrick's dog Sadie kept visiting us to see what we were up to. Can we just make it a rule if you have a dog, they have to be there getting ready with you? It takes so much stress off everyone!

They did a first look at the airbnb and then took a stroll with the photographers around downtown Lake Worth. There are some really nice spots for wedding photos in downtown Lake Worth - very colorful.

We transported all the items over to the reception area. We only had one hour to get everything set up. This is when it is absolutely key to find the right day of planner. One who is experience in décor set up - Since it was a functioning restaurant, they didn't shut down until 1 hour before ceremony start. I hired an extra assistant to come and help us set up décor. Emma gave us an idea of how she wanted everything but trusted our judgement. I think it turned out really nice! We also did the cake flowers. The wedding décor heavily consisted of candles, floating candles, white florals, and greenery. Side note - if you do floating candles you have to build extra time to fill all the vases. We made sure to pack pitchers and buckets - that was a game changer. That again is where hiring an experience day of planner for your south florida wedding is KEY!

They had a great live band and really tasty food. The desserts were oh my goodness so delicious.
Emma and Patrick were super glad that they hired a day of planner for their Lake Worth Wedding. We were able to keep the timeline running smoothly and set up and take down all their décor. We even acted as the MC and crowd control to organize the folks for the ceremony since there wasn't any traditional seating. There is nothing we won't do to ensure that you have THE best wedding. All in all fantastic wedding. It was one of Katie's (my assistants) favorites. She still talks about it to this day.
Here are a sprinkling of my favorite photos from the day:
Here is the couples review:
Lizzie is the absolute BEST! She was always available and quickly responded to anything I asked. Lizzie has so much knowledge about weddings and guided me through the last minute details I would have surely forgotten. She took our vision for our day and made sure every detail was exactly how we pictured it. With Lizzie in charge of our day, I had no doubt that our day was going to be perfect. We are so grateful we were able to work with her. She made sure we had our best day ever!
Again, no wedding would be successful without an amazing team of vendors.
